Take some time to refresh your memory about these types of irony.

Read Kate Chopin's "The Story of an Hour." Highlight examples of both verbal and situational irony. Be prepared to share and discuss these in a group.

Dramatic irony is not present in the short story; however, I would like you to suggest how it could be added.

On your blog, post one example of verbal irony from the story, one example of situational irony, and your suggestion for adding dramatic irony. You should be able to do this by the end of the class.
