Following your discussion, you will then be reading The Heart of a Peacock by Emily Carr. The link will take you to a provincial exam from November 1999. You can scroll through to page 25 to find a copy of the short story. I will also be providing you with a paper copy so that you can highlight quotes and add notes. Your task, again, is to determine if the peacock is a dynamic or static character. Look for traits and proof. I would also like you to attempt the multiple choice questions on pages 8 and 9.
